Bristol’s architect mayor wants the city to be a ‘laboratory for change’

The Mayor of Bristol, George Ferguson, has promised to add a plethora of new architectural features to the city. As an architect, Ferguson was famously responsible for the transformation of the Tobacco Factory. His planning schemes include linking the Temple Meads train station with the waterfront, a route currently occupied by roundabouts and a dual carriageway.
