Architecture and design may not be Olympic sports, but they have helped define the legacy of these Games

Some of the architecture at the Olympic Games in London 2012 has been absolutely incredible, most notably, perhaps being the Velodrome and its incredible new-age design. However, the architects themselves have been almost unheard of, due to Olympic regulations, but this article at least goes some way towards paying homage to the wonderful work that the UKs architects and designers have put into making out Olympic Games a visual treat, as well as a fantastic sporting occasion for the world to appreciate.
